Meet the team

Having spent over 15 years in equity markets Katrina joined FocusIR as Director of Client Success in April 2023.

Prior to her previous role as Director at Vox Markets, Katrina held senior positions in a number of small cap brokers including Singers Capital Markets and Allenby Capital. Katrina worked directly with management teams navigating their public markets journey.

Paul joined London South East in March 2023 to found/build FocusIR with best in class digital Investor Relations services.

Paul has over 20 years’ experience working with c-suite teams to help them understand the mechanics of the equity markets and ensuring they position their investment opportunity effectively with all stakeholders.

Before joining, Paul was Director at Vox Markets and Director of Investor Relations at Walbrook PR with successful tenures as a sell-side analyst at Evolution, Durlacher and finnCap.

Paul is a Doctor of Engineering (DEng) who entered the equity capital markets in 2000.

Donald Leggatt joined London South East in 2018 to establish the IR practice with a range of listed AIM clients including Greatland Gold, Petro Matad, Angus Energy, Tekcapital and ValiRx.

Prior to joining London South East, Donald spent ten years developing digital IR strategies for FTSE 100 and multinational listed companies such as SABMiller, Aviva, Prudential, Man Group and Wolseley and media trained many CEO’s and senior management teams.

Prior to that, Donald has 35 years of industry experience as a financial journalist and consultant, having worked for the Daily Telegraph City Desk, Channel 4, then BBC TV’s Economics & Business Unit. Donald finished his career in journalist after becoming Editor in Chief of Share Radio, the ‘Radio 4 for business’ station, which won several national radio awards.

Donald studied Scottish Law at Aberdeen University and completed a Masters in Journalism at City University.

Dave joined London South East in December, 2020 as Chief Operating Officer, to manage the day-to-day operations of the team and work with Phil Thomas on the strategic development of the business. Dave is an highly experienced  C-Suite executive, with a proven track record of achievement across multiple business sectors. Dave’s experience provides  a deep insight into general management, digital marketing, analytics, social media, product development and especially building and scaling an SME business.

In addition, Dave has extensive Financial Services experience as he was a founding member of the team that launched PrimaryBid in 2016.  As Chief Operating Officer he led the day-to-day operations of this award-winning FinTech business, which by the end of 2018 had raised over £60m for listed companies, from individual investors.

Dave joined London South East in early 2021 as a Content Marketing Executive. Prior to joining the company, Dave spent three years at Interactive Investor as a web content editor and worked with the editorial team helping to deliver daily market news. He also worked on the company’s award-winning newsletter.

Becky officially started working for London South East in January 2023, although her knowledge of the equity markets was seeded two years prior whilst she was working as a leading account manager at Revive, our founders’ digital marketing agency.

Her focus is now very much on helping manage our corporate clients alongside responsibilities supporting our Investor Relations services in general and the webinars and podcasts in particular.
